Hello, I'm Mikaela, the creative force behind Festooned Florals. My journey has been a vibrant tapestry of experiences, each thread weaving together to bring me to where I am today.

As a young woman, I discovered my passion for floristry, revelling in the joy of creating beautiful arrangements. This love for creativity was a cornerstone of my early career, and it stayed with me as I ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. Over the years, I balanced the joys and challenges of family life while also diving into the world of e-commerce and even opening a bakery. Although these endeavours were rewarding in their own right, they didn't quite satisfy the deep longing I had to return to my creative roots.

Now, at the age of 58, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to fully embrace my passion for floral arranging once again. From my cosy cellar in stunning Cornwall, I dedicate my time and energy to crafting exquisite faux flower wreaths, garlands, and memorial pieces. Each creation is a labour of love, infused with the knowledge and skills I have accumulated over a lifetime.
